    Default A simple thing.

I'm trying to get rid of clutter and reduce the amount of things I have on display, in my home, etc.

So I used up my last 2 bags of Celestial Seasoning "Nutcracker Sweet" and added a few spoons of loose "Gingerbread Spice" (that I cut out of the bags to store in a smaller tin) and brewed myself a huge pot of holiday tea. The kicker is... instead of using my usual artificial sweetener or honey, I added brown sugar to my cup.

OMGoodness, it is delicious. Its a great blend of spices, rich sweetness and overall yumminess that will carry me through out my day of cleaning, purging, organizing and baking.

Oh, and now I wish I had more Nutcracker Sweet to blend with the rest of my Gingerbread Spice! ROFL

Time to hunt for coupons and a sale.

Nutcracker Sweet is still on their website but it is more difficult to find. Several years ago I bought 6 boxes of it and it lasted me about 2 years. So when I find it, I stock up.

Yeah, I had a coupon but lost my coupon binder... it had everything in it ... mini scissors, highlighters, pen and pencil in a little denim case, individual plastic sheets for trading cards, the whole nine yards... gone.

I think I'm going to go with a plastic accordion coupon holder now.

If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I use brown sugar when I make chai in the winter, it really does add a nice flavor.

I don't recall the Celestial Seasoning blends you mention, but I saw that Stash has their Christmas Morning and Holiday Chai out for 1.99 a box.
