Awesome super of my appartment! But boo to broken heat

The heat in my building has not been working properly for about 5 weeks now. The boiler had a pump that needed to be replaced. No problem right well the boiler is so old that they had to get a part special made. Thank goodness it has not been that cold because the heat only runs at night between 10 and 2 other wise we would have no heat at all. Well today and yesterday were cold not as cold as other places but below 0. So I asked my super about it and he said it would be fixed hopefully by Wednesday. I said well should I go out and try to rent a space heater for the day time. He said why is it getting cold, I said a little and that DD has been home sick and that with her I have to have heat. I mean it is Canada in November I could wake up tomorrow and have a ton of snow or the temp could just suddenly really drop.
So he went and found me a space heater to borrow. I thought that is so nice because he knows that I am on ODSP, and that I don't have a lot of extra cash flow. He also knows that the past few months have not been easy on me. He knows I was hospitalized because I had to tell him that my ex was going to be here a lot. And he knows about DD's hospitalization because he saw me leaving with her duffel bag and asked if I was going away. This super we have has been awesome and always quick to help. My rent goes up in Jan and I will probably have to move in the next coming year. I don't want to though because I know for experience that a good super is hard to find.
