Need prayers for DH
Yesterday evening while grocery shopping dear husband became nausea, and just not feeling great, we went home and DH took his blood pressure it was 169/113, he started getting a headache, then 15 minutes later the chest pains started. He took the 3 nitro tabs in 15 minute incraments, not relief.
He retook his blood pressure and it was climbing 169/139, I immediatley drove him to the hospital, in Ohio. (the ambulance in Wheeling, WV only go to hospitals in WV) Wheeling hospital is not the greatest they have released him every time that he went there.
AT Eorh (Martins Ferry, OH) both his regular and heart doctor are there. When he arrived his BP was 179/140, they immediately took control, gave him an nitro iv drip set at level 6? and hour, morophine and a shot in the belly to thin the blood, they did an ekg ( usually we are there 4 hours, this time in 2 hours they said he was staying.
His nitro drip was set at 7, he talked to his heart doctor this morning and he was told that his enzyme levels were elevated, but they released him by 2 p.m. and from where the iv was was bleeding a lot, He held pressure.
I go thru this at least once a month for the 9 years that we have been married, (we were married on Dec 6, 2002 and heart problems started less then three months later)
The stress is getting to me. sorry that this is so long, I am very emotional. Thank you

That was a horrible experience for you and him! I'm glad he's feeling better and you can release some of the stress.

Wow - can they not do something more with meds so this won't happen again? It sounds so scary.
