Here's where I'm not so sure of things, but I did come back.
Considering the state in which I left before, it's been hard to come back.
I have been thinking long and hard about it because of the circumstances of my sudden leave of absence, but decided to just suck it up and move on.
Life's been pretty rough for us since July. Between marital issues, depression/anxiety diagnosis by my own personal therapist, money problems due to DH being out of work on and off since then and family problems, it hasn't exactly been a cake-walk for us here at the Dolynchuk residence. I decided to take some corrective action and well, I'm back here now.
Financially, we've been better. I had some problems with spontaneous spending when we were struggling, which my therapist equates to being stress-related (and is another thing we're working on as well), but I'm working really hard to get it under control.
Personally, it's been a wreck for me. We're still dealing with therapy issues, behavior issues with DS13 and DS8 had me almost drinking myself silly a few weeks back. The weather isn't helping either; it's been about -23 for the last few days (well, since Friday really).
I also found out that an aunt of mine was diagnosed with brain cancer, so that's been hard to deal with.
Between meditation, therapy, going back to the gym to burn stress and mindfulness of my anxiety and depression, I've had a full plate. The financial thing is just the cherry on top.
So I will lurk probably for a really, really long time. It's an adjustment to come back and I'm sure that some members may not be pleased, but I'm doing for me what I need to do to regain some more sanity in my life.

Besides, I needed to harass Russ more than on Facebook.

I am so pleased that you're able to shoulder the responsibility of coming back. One lovely thing about maturing is that I truthfully do not remember the conditions under which you left. Sounds as if- even though nothing's been even near great - that you are ready to charge ahead - and that's what's important. Congratulations and welcome back!!
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Welcome back!
I left for awhile too; because without warning, somebody dissed me major on a post and I felt devastated.
But I missed the forum and my kindred spirits here, so I came back after a year or so. And I can't even remember who dissed me, the post was deleted or something. So right now, I'm probably giving 'thanks' and 'hugs' and 'way to go's' to my enemy, for all I know. That's one of perks of having an illness that causes brain damage & memory loss; you can get hurt and mad, but then you forget why or who caused it.
So, here's to success with your challenges, and to finding encouragement and ideas on our forum.

I doubt anyone harbors any bad feelings towards you. I don't remember anything bad that you ever posted. Don't worry about what other people think! I am sure you will find more support on this board than anything else anyway. This seems to be a really understanding group of people. Welcome back and I will pray for you.

I'm mostly a lurker, but I remember your situation earlier this year and have missed reading your posts while you were gone. I'm glad you're back.
You have a lot on your plate, a lot of stress and pressure. Hanging out here again may help bring some balance back in your life, help you refocus, or even distract you from some of the b.s. sometimes, you know?
-23 sucks
We're getting there but haven't gone below -3 so far, and that's been overnight while we're sleeping. We're still above 0 during the day (Ontario, just north of Toronto)
Anyway, lurker or poster, I'm glad you're back.
