Black Friday sales are starting to creep in up here and it just disgusts me. I am all for saving money, but that much headache and stress is not worth the saved money.

I started my shopping last night and planned to avoid any stores on Friday here, regardless of whether they do the sales or not. I like to make sure that my holiday season doesn't overlap another holiday and as such, our shopping began last night... well away from Thanksgiving.

I agree on avoiding the psychology of the whole thing if you go in with a list and are smart about what you get. It would be nice if everyone else did the same thing.
