~King sized down alternative comforter: 90% off

I was bummed that my favorite thrift store couldn't run their BF special today. They usually hand out coupons to the first 50 people in line for 75% off everything. Otherwise the sale is 50% off store-wide which is still amazing.
But this year they are in the middle of a move to a bigger building and will open that location in a couple of days.
Sad not only because I love the bargains but because it's a traditional thing for the girls in our family to do together.~

Went to Kohl's and bought the 82 piece Onieda flatware set on sale for $47.99 (reg price $159.99) Then debated for awhile on whether I was going to buy the Dyson vacuum that was on sale for $299.00 (reg price $499.00) in the end I decided it was worth the saving's after my 15% off coupon plus get $15.00 Kohl's cash for every $50.00 you spend I ended up saving around $312.00 plus I got $90.00 in Kohl's cash to spend in the next 2-weeks..... GREAT DEAL'S! for the stuff I wanted and needed.............................................................................

Next stop Shoprite which I bought:
4-15 rolls of Bounty paper towel's on sale for $9.88 (reg price $17.88)

3-30pks AA & AAA Rayovac batteries on sale for $3.99 (reg price $5.99 which I think is a error more like $10.00 or more each)

4- bottles of Pantene on sale for $1.99 (reg price $6.49)

24lbs of Boneless Pork Loin @ $1.24lb (reg price$2.49) made 6 pork roast already foodsavered and in the freezer

I did really well I think..I might go back to Shoprite tomorrow and stockup more on those sale items?

    No big deals for us.

First we hauled trash, to beat the storm forecast for tomorrow. Unfortunately, they weren't having a Black Friday special on dump fees. We did, however, salvage a lidless canner which will become a planter next summer, and a silverware rack for our dishwasher, since ours is full of holes in the bottom that aren't supposed to be there, and a trash can lid to replace one we have with holes in it. So we did get a few nice freebies.

Then we hit Goodwill and got the usual deals there, nice but nothing special. Bought two bags of yarn, a Corningware soup bowl with lid, and a Green Bay Packers sweatshirt, none of it half price, but all still good deals.

We went to our local discount store, where we bought nothing at all.

Then on to Dairy Queen for lunch, two $5 burger meals with mini-Blizzard. No deals there.

We did, however, buy a freezer on Tuesday that was $140 off plus 15% more off from a coupon we had. And yesterday we got two sets of those cool solar butterfly lights for our new garden spaces, half price, plus two small $20 coffee makers for $8 each.

Today I made a shopping bag out of a bird seed bag for my mom for Christmas. Total cost: $0. She'll love it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets excited over things like this. My 20 year old daughter and I hit two Harley dealerships up today....one my husband works at and I was really disappointed in their sales. Went to the next one and discovered I missed out on $10 jeans.....can you believe that.....at a HD dealership??

We went all over the place... I got 2 pairs of new jeans 40% off, some new tops - only $6 for one of them! (I've lost a lot of weight and needed clothes that actually fit - I'm tall, so pants are a challenge to find new, let alone used). Happy girl!

I've been wanting computer speakers for over a year now...nothing fancy, but they're still regularly in the $50 for basic/decent 3 speaker set. Got a very nice set for $14.99!

We got to check off some of the names on our Christmas list, too! Got a 16GB thumb drive for $11.99!! It will be a big hit! We got a pretty stationary set for 5.59 for Dh's Grandma. A book for about $5 his other Grandma will love.

And we both got some much-needed, new socks! 50% off - gotta love the Fred Meyer sales! And the free coffee and donuts!

I shopped online for a few items that to me had high price tags to begin with. But there were three things I was looking for. I shop through ebates which gives you a percentage back depending on which sites you shop. But I was looking for a 4 in 1 crib for our new grandbaby to be and it was going to be about $649 with tax and shipping and I got it for $355 and some change on sale and free shipping and a discount. I wanted a leap Pad for our grandson and I got three learning games. Before with taxes around $150, after discounts, on sale and when I checked out it said use promotional code holiday, so I did. It cost me $64 dollars with all and with free shipping. The other thing was my grandaughters wanted a carry case for their Nintendo DS game, regularly they are $14.99 each, I got each for $6.09, with tax and shipping I paid for what I would have for one carry case. Plus I get cash back for using the site.
