Heather, don't forget. Just because it looks like it needs painting, it may not. Give those walls a good cleaning with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or some such. We thought our basement needed painting, but instead went after it and cleaned it real well, and you know, with strategic placement of furniture to hide the bad spots, it doesn't look too bad!
