    Default 21 today!!!!

    My youngest child and only daughter will be celebrating her 21st birthday today, November 30th.
    We now only have adult children.

    I'm feeling a little emotional about the whole thing.
    I remember the day she was born as if it were yesterday. We had the same midwife who had delivered our last 3 kids and after having 4 boys, this person knew that we wished for a girl but we definitely weren't counting on it.
    There was silence in the delivery room when our daughter was born and the midwife just whispered to us, it's a girl. I broke down in tears.
    We called her Fiori which is Italian for flowers (it isn't even a name just a beautiful word).

    It will be a day full of surprises for her, including a surprise party for her this evening. She will be whisked away by one of her friends and taken to the location (golf club restaurant nearby) while we are all having dinner (her 4 brothers will be here for dinner).
    As soon as she leaves the house we will drop everything and race to the golf club (they are going another - longer - route) and get there to shout surprise to her when she comes in.
