I price matched and got campbell's cream of chicken and mushroom for 49 cents a can. I bought several and some were even less. I had 3 coupons. 2 were 35 cents off 4 and 1 was 40 cents off. I thought this was a good deal.TC

That is AWESOME DEAL..........I was happy to find the soups basically 1/2 price! After Christmas you won't see those deals again until next November that's why I stocked enough to last until then.

HEB has opened a few small stores in my area called Joe V's Smart Shop. They are not the huge behemoth stores and they have some really good prices. They don't take credit cards, but they do take debit cards and cash. They also accept coupons. They just opened their 4th store.

    Examples:

This week - bone in ribeyes $1.97 a lb.

Hill Country Fare canned veggies are always 3/$1

1 gal milk $2.99 - 50 cents or more less than other stores
    Mary

I won 2nd place! Made it to the top 4 finalists for the ultimate biker makeover!

Target has a deal on Curel lotion this week, buy 2 (certain ones) & get $5 GC. I got the "itch relief" 16oz $8.89-$2 coupon & the "hand & nail" 3oz $3.59-$1 coupon. Total $12.48 less coupons = $9.48 & w/the $5GC down to $4.48! I'm always looking for a good winter lotion & hand cream. Also, good for stocking stuffers.

Petsmart has a Purina deal going on. Purchase selected products & receive a $5 coupon on your receipt for your next Purina purchase. I believe this deal started in November & we've gotten the $5 coupon several times. Last nights coupon is good until 2/28/2012. Not sure if this offer is available in all states. Couldn't find information on their website.

Joe V's is in my area but I don't get their flyer anymore so I don't think to go there.....I found that Food Town has some really good deals...they have Taco Seasoning 10/1...in other stores it is like .59 each...Taco Shells 2/$1. I have gotten Deviled Ham as low as 22 cents a can....it's $1.59 in stores....Thanks for reminding me of Joe V's....

oops forgot to add that I found 24 huge cans of tomatoes on clearance for .37 each & vitamins for $1 - $1.25. My son came home the night before from HEB & had picked up 3 12 oz jars of goober's peanutbutter/chocolate spread for .25 each.....sadly they were sold out by the time I got there.

Picked up a 2lb tub of vanilla yogurt at the discount grocery for 69 cents...yogurt parfaits for breakfast for me for the next few days at least.

While I didn't buy it in December, over the past week I've managed to turn a little 1 1/2 pound pork roast and a 50 cent bottle of BBQ sauce into seven individual meals so far - pulled pork, pulled pork french bread pizza and pulled pork tacos. I probably have enough for a few more meals worth of pizza for me as well. And it is DELICIOUS.
