    Default My Poor Houseapes

Our family has been hit horribly by a stomach bug during this past week. The first night ds #2 brought it home...then 2 HAs caught it...then the next night, 4(1 was dh) more caught it...then the next night 3 more caught it....dd #2 said she wasn't going to visit until we all got over it (lol -don't blame her - this stuff is awful).....now everyone is mad at me b/c I am the only one who hasn't caught it - yet. I'm on a very high vitamin D & calcium regime b/c of my thyroid being removed. Also I have been taking black walnut(& giving it to my kids to keep the "sick time" limited).I hope this passes quickly.

I sure feel for you all. I had it last week myself and it was awful. My daughter had it a few days before me. She also had a sinus infection and bronchitis along with the virus. Hope you all get well quickly.

I'm so sorry, it's a horrible thing to go through. All five of us had it at once last year and we only have two bathrooms....NOT fun!!! Hope they get better soon!

I really feel bad for all of you. We had the same wonderful stomach bug over Thanksgiving when I was suppose to entertain sixteen people here. Please take care and watch out. People may look like they are improving for a day or two, then, it hits you again.

Please take care and I hope everyone recovers quickly!

I can feel your pain! We've had times like that when all of us had a stomach bug. In my opinion, stomach upset is the worst thing of all! I hate it! Dh and I had a very bad one once when our oldest was a baby. We were too sick to care for him properly so my Mom came over to help. It was such a virulent strain that unbeknownst to us, she caught it within hours of being in our house despite excellent handwashing! Dh and I were in bed half dead and she got so sick and weak herself that she had to crawl to our guest bathroom to vomit. Fortunately when we woke up dh was better and could tend to our child while my Mom and I were still sick. Not a good memory! Hope you get well soon.

It's at our house now, hubby's been miserable since yesterday. I had something at Thanksgiving and it lasted about a week, this seems different & hope I don't get it. Hope you all feel better soon and you can continue to evade it.

Oh, MY, I can't imagine what that's like in a family your size. It's bad enough with only two kids, LOL.

Hope you don't get it, also!

That's the norovirus that's going around, right? I had it a few years ago and it remains the WORST day of the last 10 years of my life. Absolutely miserable. GET WELL VIBES to all who are going through it ... and STAY HEALTHY VIBES to the rest of us!
