    I would do 2 casseroles (French toast and the sausage casserole ones- can make a day ahead- just pop it in the oven and you are good to go!), fruit salad, and a cold cut spread with rolls and condiments, and possibly a fruit dessert/pie.

    We do brunch every year on Christmas Day- I make either an egg casserole or quiche, a french toast casserole, some fruit (tray or fruit salad), and monkey bread that I make by taking pillsbury cinnamon rolls and cutting them in quarters and tossing them into a loaf pan randomly or muffins. It is just our family and my parents in law. This year I might add some potatoes of some sort. Oh, and the in laws bring pigs in a blanket. We go to my parents for dinner then so it works out well. Brunch is so easy and inexpensive.

    I think the suggestions for an egg bake are great ideas.

    I'm allergic to eggs, so I don't do a lot of breakfast-y foods, but when I do brunch I do some of the following things that are pretty easy.

    Some type of oatmeal, cooked in the slow cooker. I've done recipes with canned pie filling or pumpkin pie filling that are delicious, and different enough to be special enough for a brunch.

    Cold cut sandwiches on mini croissants. Usually ham and turkey or chicken with various types of cheese. Put some lettuce and sliced tomato on the side for people to add if you want to.

    Fruit kabobs. These are easy, you can prep them the night before, and kids love them. If you want, you can make a dip or serve with vanilla yogurt for dipping.

    I usually make up some blueberry banana muffins as well. The way I do these is egg-free and pretty cheap. Box of blueberry muffin mix (the kind with the can of blueberries) from Aldi. Add the water that is called for on the box, and 1-2 very ripe mashed bananas - don't add anything else. Mix and bake as directed. The size of the bananas doesn't really matter, it will work with either 1 or 2 bananas, my fiancee just likes them to have extra banana. I usually buy the ripe bananas that the grocery bags up for quick sale to make these.

    If you buy one of those bags of ripe bananas (my grocery sells 3-4 lb bags for 99 cents), then you can slice the extra bananas and make a quick banana foster syrup with brown sugar, cinnamon, and a little rum to make some simple pancakes or waffles extra special.

    All these ideas are great

    My personal fave brunch items - omelet , sausage/bacon, toast and fresh fruit. Maybe a potato option and baked goods.

    14 people may sound like a lot but its not. I guess it all depends on age group and likes of your guests - do you know their preferences?

    My suggestions:
    * cold shrimp w/cocktail sauce
    * sliced veggies - DIY salad bar with dips/dressing
    * fresh fruit kebabs
    * deli meat/cheese tray w/crackers
    * a round of brie cheese w/hot pepper jelly
    * pickle tray
    * egg dish (quiche, strata, baked egg cups)
    * bacon/sausage/hotdog options
    * tater tot casserole
    * scalloped potatoes with diced ham
    * pizza - simple flat bread style
    * pasta w/tomato sauce or meat sauce with/without meatballs
    * pastries (danishes, cookies, muffins, donut holes)
    * if you're bold enough or feel its needed, soup or chili
    * usual coffee/tea/juice options and/or a festive signature drink: seltzer with pomegranate syrup?

    We keep it simple with quiche, cinnamon rolls or butter braid bread, fruit, juice and coffee.
