Haven't read the other replies
but the first thing that came to mind were my running shoes - Brooke Brand. They're pretty custom fit and once I put on 5K miles, they get turned into every day tennis shoes and then eventually they get turned into "wash the truck and do yard work" shoes. My current wash the truck and do yard work shoes are going on six years and I have another pair in the wings. Money very well spent.

A Presto canner my grandparents bought new in 1949 that has been in use every year since. I've had it since approx. 1998.
Canning jars from my grandparents. The oldest that I am aware of are from 1976 because they have special bicentenial decor on them. I use them every year.
Cast iron pieces from both my & dh's grandmothers.
A KitchenAid mixer I bought on clearance 25 years ago.
Various pieces of wood furniture from my grandparents home well over 60 years old.
I also have a pair of WM Dr. Scholls that I bought when pregnant with my youngest who is now 14 years. I have worn those shoes ever winter since and they still look great.
We bought our kitchen cabinets from the HFH Restore. The cabinets were custom built in the early 1980's. Dh & I have refinished and customized them for our kitchen and they look great. We paid $300.00 for beautiful cabinets and oak countertops.

This is a great thread. I am very envious of you all who have so many cherished possessions. I moved to Greece with two suitcases so I have almost nothing older than 2009.
We have two pianos from Russia, one is relatively new but the other one is ancient. I don't know exactly how old but it is OLD, surely more than 100 years. It needs to be tuned but that's not its fault.
But that's it. Even the old stuff I have is new to me. I miss my stuff sometimes! My Brand-New Blog: http://homeingreece.wordpress.com

i just retired a pair of mocha suede birkenstock boston clogs. over 22 years old and looking ratty. bought a fresh pair.
i have my birks resoled and repaired.11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
credit card debt 7500
mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
then live on the rest!
i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

I have a 1994 Geop Prizm bought in Oct. 1993. It had 18 miles on it. Now it has over 300,000 miles. Sadly the body is falling apart, but she just keeps going and going and going. Thinking about replacing her is next summer, giving this one to my son. It still runs good, and he can probably fix alot of the cosmetic stuff wrong with it.
