Oh Good they changed it The audio letter on their website had said
20 children 19 here and 1 in heaven

I hadn't heard the news and I googled it when I saw your post...while I have the deepsest sympathy for their loss (losing a child is losing a child, no matter how many you already have), I find how they have been publically sensationalizing (or done things that allow it to be senstaionalized) it a bit creepy. You want to pose for pictures with the corspe of your miscarried baby? Fine- but keep them private, don't pass them out at the memorial! everyone copes with greif their own way, but I don't get it.

a family member posted the pix in a tweet but they were taken down but i believe TMZ got a hold of them and had them up for a while
it shows the babies hand in the mothers hand and then a hand holding its feet has a saying with it that says no footprint is to small _____ ( forget the rest -something to do with how it affects the world etc - but it had a nice meaning to it ).
i am sure they didnt force pictures on people -just as you are not forced to take a memorial card at a burial..
funny i find it odder that people use 70 yo photos in a 90 yos obituary - really their HS grad pix is the last pix they have they look good in ? noticed that alot lately when i read the obits in our local paper ( and yes i read the obits daily because i like to know if someone i once cared for died after we moved them to hospice etc so i can send the family a card )*~Debbi~*

I didn't click on the link or look at the pictures, but they should be allowed to grieve the way they want. I lost two children in my 5th month. One was born with a heartbeat and only lived a few minutes. Because my daughter was born alive, I was able to hold her a few minutes and I have her ashes still. I was not offered a picture, but that is ok because I would've turned it down. My son was not alive and I couldn't even hold him or look at him...it was just too much. We all grieve differently. For me, it was best to try and push it out of my mind to carry on. I could not do all they're doing, but it is their right.

I actually thought the picture of the hand and foot were done in good taste. I've never lost a child so I can't speak as to how I would react, but I see nothing wrong with what the Duggars did to remember their baby. You have to worry about yourself and your family in a time like that and not worry about what the general public says about what you do.
