Netflix is free to download, but only useable if you have netflix. I have it on my ipad. I can watch tv in the bath. It's a lot better than my old method of dragging the television into the bathroom. Hulu is another.

Angry birds has a free version.

    Pandora internet radio. (Free)

    Allrecipes (free)

Plants vs zombies. Great game, but not free

    There's a flashlight app that's free.

Kids love the talking games like talking tom.

I just came across something I think I am going to LOVE! It's an app for lists (to-do's, shopping, etc.) and calendaring that can be shared across devices including my Kindle. So far, I love it! I had originally found Evernote which is okay but it is not as nice as this app. This is more what I was looking for - I do not have a smartphone, my Kindle is my go-to device now for appointments and grocery lists so I was looking for an e-organizer. This one seems to fit the bill!
