2012 One-Thing-Only Goal
It's that time of year again when we think ahead to those goals we will set for next year. You know... things like "lose 20 pounds, reorganize the spice cabinet," etc. And we all know the despair of making those things really happen.
Welll, I'm asking you to think ahead to the end of December 2012. What is one thing you hope you can say a year from now that is really really good?
I'm hoping that I can say at the end of December 2012, "Hey! What do you think of my 10 pound weight loss!!"
How about you? One thing only....Spiritual:
"You are fearfully and wonderfully made." Please... respect life.
Financial:
Debt free, hoping to stay that way!
MY BLOG: glorybug.wordpress.com
1. Keep on writing.
2. Get some balance in my life.
3. Lose weight. Hopefully 5# this year. (9.5 pounds right now! Yay, Me!!)
4. Continue to be looking for how God wants to use me this year.

My two big goals are to reach my goal weight and to pay off every penny of our debt. Since I'm better at paying off debt than losing weight, I'm going to pick losing weight as my one big goal. Paying off the debt should be pretty easy by comparison.

I have an extremely hard time putting myself first. My 2012 goal is to become selfish, well not selfish really, but it will feel that way. I'm going to learn how to say no. I'm going to learn not to overfill my plate. I'm going to learn that just because you screwed up it does not make it my emergency, I'm going to learn to take care of me first so I can take can of others. I'm going to learn to spend my money on me and not family members. I'm going to learn for the first time in my life that while my family is important, I'm important too, 2012 is my year!

Where I'd like to see myself by next December - to be rid of boxes of 'stuff'. As in actually sort, organize and purge it all so we have a 'home' not a 'home filled with boxes of stuff'. (Still trying to merge DH's stuff from his home into dad and I's - its been a year so far)

The one goal I am setting for myself to accomplish by the end of 2012 is to run a 1/2 marathon. I just recently started running 5k's and am interested in running a 1/2 marathon and then a full marathon. I am working up to the 1/2 marathon first, so that will be my one goal for the year.
