Caught Grandma crying last night

Last night hubby went down for his last smoke and to take the dogs out for last tinkle. (potty) Well he didn't come back so I went down to see what was going on. Grandma was in tears full fledged hysterics and hubby is at his wits end..
She was crying because her son spent Christmas alone and could not be around his family and friends who have children.. Well Grandma did not know the whole story and we told her. That he was convicted for child pornography...(GRRRR PUT HIM UNDER THE JAIL) she thought he had survalience cameras up and that is why he was in trouble. The camera was in the child's bedroom and there is several boxes of these video tapes. (he got a slap on the wrist GRR) and no body told her... So we had to.. It was not pretty...
Then her daughter is calling crying everyday that her stupid ex is trying to take her kid (the oldest is his) the boy is peeing on his self daily.
She won't go get legal aid help. she has no money to ride the bus or gumption to walk.....
She went and spent the Holiday with his family instead of doing her own thing. and the family is argueing over the Wii Grandma got them they want it so the boy can use it . stupid.
Her apartment is a MESS. She has no couch and it is boxes of stuff she won't throw away or go through. (they have beds all of them)
The ex is wanting custody so he can get his SSI check her only income and not pay child support he don't pay anyway. ( her only income for her and 3 kids cash)
She has no family or friends out there and and the people she knows would not help her at all.
They have lived with the ex 's family, starved, went to food pantry's, she has no job and is going to school to be a massage therapist.
he can not pass a piss test and is not one bit better off.
Oh the other 2 kids daddy is not paying child support either he is a homeless shelter and will not work at anything...
Grandma has found that there might be insurance money from her late husband and is praying she can go out there and save her daughter.
But the daughter is stupid for letting that man come in her house and she has no backbone at all he yells and talks to her like a dog...
SHE WANTS HER MOMMY.... Her mommy said that she could not do it by herself. WELL mommy packed her up and moved her out there with no one. It is done but it was Stupid. They did not know Phoenix was in that bad shape (economy)..
They both are paying for stupid decisions.
I am so glad that both my daughters are smarter than that....
We can not afford to help her

Wow that sounds like a soap opera lol. When people keep having problems sometimes they have to take a look in the mirror and find out they are the problem. Stay out of it, I have the same drama with my mom and stepsister and I stay clear. Thank goodness I live 750 miles away.
