    Hahahaha!

True story: my MIL pulled out an assorted bag of the truffle balls for 'dessert' or something to have with your nightly tea...she was raving about the price...it was OK but when we told her how much we pay for the same bag she just about started to beat us

I didn't even eat dessert much when I was home.......again, too full after the main meal............but this isn't saying I don't have a HORRIBLE SWEET tooth...........and with my love for baking it isn't a good combo.

Polly, thanks for sharing those the recipes. Don't you just love desserts that don't require 400 different types of ingredient?

Libby...a Lindt outlet store?! Yeah, chocolate would replace all my meals if I had access to that.

We "average" about once a week...lol.
But I always try to keep some type of fruit on hand...whether it's clementines, apples or bananas...whatever is cheapest at the store that week.

I try to make cookies at least once a week...usually the typical chocolate chip or sometimes the quick p.butter/chocolate drop cookies.
Or it seems lately it's been some type of pie...my 16 yr. dd. is getting very good at her pie making skills.

Also in the wintertime, we substitute making homemade hot cocoa instead of cookies or whatnot.

Ever so slowly rebuilding my stockpile...
