2012 New Years Resolutions
Most people have at least one New Year Resolution they hope to accomplish in the coming year. For some it's lose weight, for some it's financial, stop smoking, learn new dishes, school, pay off XX on debt etc.
How many of us have Resolutions for 2012? List any and all you hope to accomplish no matter how big or small.Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

I'm not sure if mine are really "resolutions"...just things that I hope to do more of and less of in 2012. I posted about it on the blog today, so you can click my link in my signature if you'd like to check it out.
I'm always interested in seeing others resolutions, as sometimes people think of things I would never have, but could certainly stand to do in my own life!

My resolution is more general in nature...
While I want to work in all areas (health, finance, play, etc)...
My goal is to be able to learn to focus and stay the course no matter what task I am tackling. I try to take on too many things at once resulting in my doing none to the best of my ability.

Only then will you find that money can't be eaten.”

I have a LONG list. lol But I'm excited about them all, so that's a good sign!
First and foremost, pay down my debt. I will be tracking my money this month to see where all the leaks are, so that will be eye-opening, I'm sure.
I am going to start exercising regularly. And in addition to this, I am going to try and drink 6-8 glasses of water daily. I forget to drink it, so this will be a challenge for me!
I would like to try and learn a 2nd language this year. Maybe not master it, but basic phrases and words would be fabulous!
I'm excited for 2012!!

I don't normally make resolutions, and right now I am pretty happy with my life and don't see a lot that needs changing. However, this year I am going to try and finish all the craft projects I said I would finish last year, as well as not get overwhelmed with new projects this year.

I'm a bit like nessarowdy....want to focus on debt. I made a little progress this year but not enough to pay anything off :-(
I should have one paid off next month, if all goes well. Then start the snowballing process.
I'd also like to do the water but, boy, I sure hate drinking water. I was able to quit drinking soft drinks last year, thank goodness, but I just can't make myself like water. Maybe it's like taking medicine, just drink it and get it over with.
I'd like to focus more on helping my daughter who struggles with AS. Not sure what else I can do but I'll keep trying.

I don't do them BUT this year I want to pay off the camper($537) and get savings back up to $2000+ to replace what was taken for dds car repairs.
I am sticking with these 2 for now. Anything more will just bog me down and worry me.
When I complete these 2 tasks I will move forward down my list.
Oh dang I forgot! I am getting my 4 month stock pile in place too.
So that makes 3!The math never lies, budget in INK!
Amount of Free items 2012 $391.33

Debt #2 12/31/12 CC $901.88
Debt #3 12/31/12 $3648.83
Madness, mayhem chaos...my work here is done!

Fernykins, I am the same way. I stopped making resolutions a long time ago. The majority of people give up on them rather quickly.

If you're interested in seeing other people's resolutions you might be interested in the 2012 Twenty Wishes Challenge here.
I don't do resolutions so much as 20 Wishes every year. They aren't fixed in stone. And I have a procedure for breaking them down and getting things done.
I used to have 11 pages of 'goals'. Limiting myself to 20 wishes has really helped me narrow down what is important to me and what skill set I bring to the table that I can use to set realistic timelines.
My big 'resolutions' would be to earn some money, and to become healthier, with all that entails.2012 Challenges
Use it up Challenge
20 Wishes Challenge: 1/20
Lose-a-pound-a-week Challenge: 24/52 (since spring 2011)

I am going to only focus on one things at a time. Right now IF things go the way I want them to money wise. Then I will be debt free by June 1st! I will take everything else from there. There is talk of my grandfather (who passed away 2yrs ago) farm getting sold. If this happens I would like to buy it but I must be debt free first.
