Newbie to the Forum
New to the site
How did you hear about frugal village? I started out in Factoidz.com where I am a staff writer, looking for any articles about peroxide. That search took me another writer's entry about frugal living. Her article provided a link to this site, which has information about salvage grocery stores. In other words, a link here, a link there, and here I am....LOL
What interests you here? Always looking for ways to make better use of my money.
What will you contribute? I don't know yet, I'm so new here. But I have more than 40 years of running my own home under my belt, plus several years of running my own business, plus experience as a middle school teacher and experience as a property & casualty insurance agent. Something just might click.
Do you know any other members here? Not sure. I think the woman whose article brought me here might be a member but I don't know her user name.
How many kids? Ages? Step children, men - age 30 and 27
Tell us about yourself. See above in "what will you contribute?"
Do you own any pets? Yes, one cat. Her name is Fred - Shhh, don't tell her that's a male name; little miss priss would be so offended! She's 13 years old.
Occupation? Retired, working part-time
Married or single? Married, was widowed previously and now married again.
Interests and hobbies? Piano, church, writing, reading
