Teaching a Coupon "Class"-ADVICE?!?
Hi All!!! Its been a bit...I have sure missed everyone!!!
So I am teaching 2 of my co-workers today the "art of couponing" we all have jobs...that barely cover the bills and they see what I am doing and have asked to learn
I LOVE sharing so I agreed. So now my question for all of you WONDERFUL people is what do YOU think is important? I don't want to leave anything out.Quick list of what I have now:
*Links to show various organization methods(I am an avid box user)
*Will go over "stacking"
*Drugstore rewards programs
*Links for printables(coupons.com;smartsource;redplum)-please add to these I have been off the printing wagon for a while
So ALL suggestions and advice is welcome!!! Thanks in Advance!

Tell them those Tv shows that show people getting a big $500 haul for .50, are pretty much NOT going to happen for them.
And they'll end up with a pantry full of junk food and nothing to make real meals with.
In other words, they need to be realistic.______

I like the website couponmom. Since I can search the coupon database I do not need to constantly remember what coupons I have or needless clipping and filing. If they are starting a stockpile let them know that it may take an extra 20 dollars a month or more to get started.

As far as couponing goes what works for one person may not work for another person. So let them know they may end up changing how they coupon or what they coupon a couple of times.

I see you already put stacking on your plan. I never knew about that until some friends that went to a coupon class told me about it. That is a good tip. They were told that if they save 50 % then they were doing good, unlike the shows where they save almost 100 %. Not to take more than they would use before it went out of date.
