    Default Taxes are done!

Somehow we got all of our forms early this year and I just finished them! We dont have state taxes here so that does make it a bit easier. So happy to get it over!

We haven't received a single form yet.

DH will take care of it April 13 or 14th.

It always feels wonderful to get your taxes done! We are only waiting on 1 more & then we can file.

I am waiting on one form to get ours done, have been hoping that form would get here as I would love to get the taxes out of the way before I am induced to have my baby next Friday.

No paperwork here yet either. Still need to research what the rules/implications are with our casualty loss. Hubby's the tax man, I just sign, lol.

I don't like to owe taxes either, but looking on the bright side - owing taxes means you made money last year right? And doesn't getting married help the tax situation, rather than hurt it? Try filing married filing jointly AND married filing separate and see which one is better. Good luck!

Thanks. i guess i am just being whiny. we did have a great year last year but then i lost my job on jan 6 (along with 600 other people). and the thought of our tax bill on top of at least 2 weeks of no pay is getting to me. This is my second week with no job and it looks like it will be another week after this one. i signed an offer with a company last week. i just get nuts sitting at home all day not making any money.

    Sorry for the whine.

Bah, just found out I won't be getting my last form until middle-end of February. On the bright side, it's coming from my dad so I can continue to bother him in person :-) Downside is, he can't give me the form until he gets all his information.
