Made some dairy free "cheese"
I made some dairy free "cheese" and have to say it does remind me of cheese. Just need something to put it on. Hoping that my bread comes out ok.

More power too you! I'm a vegan so of course cheese has been off limits to me for years.
For a long time there were no good vegan cheeses available because they just made them out of soy but never aged them like regular cheese. Then about 3 years ago there was a revolution in vegan cheeses and many new good ones came on the market (daiya and teese are the 2 best.)
I use daiya and have used teese a few times. But daiya is the best.
If you're interested in non-dairy cheese making you may want to look at The Uncheese Cookbook which is filled with non-dairy cheese making recipes.
