    Default I'm having surgery Tuesday...

    Update to my abnormal mammogram thread...

    I'm having a double mastectomy Tuesday. I won't be able to use my hands for awhile, so I'm saying so long now. I'll come back when I'm able.

    Thanks to everyone for all the support you have given me on this horrible journey.

    Teresa,

    I am sorry to hear it. My mother had one a few years ago, and she recovered very quickly. The worst part for her was that she opted to have reconstructive work, so allowed them to put in those "bladders" that they slowly fill up with saline until you are at the size you want. She really ached every time she had to go in for a fill-up, and ended up not going back to her original size.
