Default Yesterday was my sisters Celebration of Life.

Yesterday was a very hard and emotional day, but we did it. The flowers, pictures, and mementos were all done so fantasctically awesome. I think that my sister would 1) be pissed we spent so much time/money on "remembering" her, and 2) would have been pleased as peas with what we did do. There were almost 350 in attendance at the High School we all went to. There were fond rememberances, hugs and tears all day long. Then once it was over my son came running in from outside saying it had been snowing the whole time. Come to find out my sister had told her husband just a few weeks before her passing that she wished the boys had snow, it snowed almost 5 inches before I was able to make it out of the little town of Lowell, just to find there was no snow about 10 miles out side of the town. I truely believe my sister sent her boys SNOW. I love her and miss her dearly.

Hugs...I'm sure your sister loved everything you did for her! Your sister's wish that her boy's would see snow made their day a little better I hope.

Sounds like it was a beautiful tribute to your sister. It's always hard to lose someone and my thoughts are with you. My baby sister passed on in 2003 and not a day goes by that I don't think of her.

It sounds like a very nice celebration of life. I have not heard it quite put that way but it is a lovely way to look at it. Big hugs
