I did. The tools were great, but it's been a few years and you might be able to find the same things at other sites for free now. For me it didn't work well as being accountable to just me allowed me to cheat to easily.

I've been playing with the idea of going with WW online recently too. We have it here at work, where they'll come to us to do the meetings but I am out of the office so often it doesn't make sense for me to sign up for the meetings anyway.
I like the fact that I could track my points on my phone and would have access to the WW forum. If you do a quick google search, you'll find lots of people have had success with the online version but you have to keep yourself accountable. I am trying to see if someone here at work will do it with me. I work better with a partner.marie/andrea

so funny I did both the meetings at work and I am currently an online member and I go to meetings at a WW center.
latierra84 if you could adjust your schedule do the meetings at work I think you would find great sucesses. Its fun, its easy and you are not alone. you have people standing right next to you as you're heating your lunch in the cafeteria that are doing the same program. Meetings at work were a great success not only for me but for the people I work with.
I'm a lifetime member now so I get to attend the meetings at the center for free and I get the Etools for free too.
With an Etools membership you get the online food tracker, activity tracker, recipe builder and I'm sure a whole bunch of other stuff. the message boards are free so if you want to just check that out you can without paying. You might have to "log in or sign up" but the website itself is free.

I like WW because I have not given up anything. NOTHING! I have learned how to eat the foods that I want in a "responsible" way. I have pizza and wine, and popcorn and snacks but I also am eating much healthier. WW is based on meeting the good health guidelines. 5 servings of fruits & vegetables, dairy, healthy oils etc.
We had a thread going in the health & beauty section but it seems to have died down a bit.Judy

My mom and I joined a site *years* ago named Spark People (google it, it keeps accusing me of spamming). Its an online weight loss forum, they have exercise and diet plans available for free (it was started by one of the guys who started eBay and who decided he wanted to do something to help others with all his money). Maybe check it out before you sign up for WW online simply because its free, if you like it, you'll save money and if you don't like it, you haven't lost anything by trying it.
It worked really well for my mom (who had more weight to lose than I did anyway) not so much for me but I didn't have internet access at the time so I had to go to a library/wifi hotspot in order to log in.I want to kill my mortgage! 192,391/197,370 (since July 2011)
I'm attempting to live by the principles of The Compact in 2012. Wish me luck!
2012 Financial goals
- make an extra $15k over and above any flying pay (1705/15000)
- pay an extra $1750 off my mortgage (557/1750)
- bring EF back to $10k - $3533 left to save
- avoid lifestyle inflation
- improve investment plan (change accounts) - *grumble grumble* Bank made a mistake, need to re-do paperwork
The Financial Goals I've achieved: increased RSP contribution to $300/mth, posted budget on FV for review, saved $1600 to go on vacation

I just started again a week ago. I like it because I need something to keep me accountable for the things I put in my mouth. I tried the free ones but I guess (in my mind) because they were free I cheated easier. Because I am paying for it I feel I have to be honest. I just work it into my budgeted allowance money.
