brownies or crispy treats?
I have a box of brownie mix and a box of Rice Krispies both with 2011 "expiration" dates. We're going over to a friend's house to hang out tonight, which one should I make up to take as a snack?

I think you should make the one that both you and/or your guests do not eat often.
Everyone seems to make brownies and a lot of desserts are chocolate or cake based. I think the Rice Krispies are an understated classic

brownies, definitely. Krispie treats are a poor substitute for dessert, IMHO, no flavor. Unless you put some choc. chips in there...

I vote crispy treats because I haven't had them in so long and want some! Have a nice visit!

I think you should bake brownies and rice treats.

I don't get either very often so I would have one of each and feel like the Cheshire cat.The Free Spirit Saver who walks the path with Greebo.

Make both. Now what time did you say you would be here?

OK, brownies it is then! I have eggs to use up anyways. And I think, if we play a tabletop game it will be less sticky, too.

Good choice. I would make the brownies for the party and then make the crispy treats and them All Myself!

I love them both but voted for brownies since I'm in the mood for chocolate. (and this post reminded me to add marshmallows to my grocery list. My mom sent a HUGE box of Rice Krispies home with dd and I need to use them up. I will make treats this weekend!)
