I posted the other day about calling my hi company and getting our bill dropped from $844 down to $605. Agent had to do it as a rewrite since the renewal was already heading through the system. Received the app today and a couple of the discounts we are now getting jumped right out at me:

1. Renovated home discount 5%
2. New roof discount 5%
3. Credit Union Discount 5%

Those are 3 discounts we didn't even know about...had we known we would have called the insurance company when we joined the credit union and when we finished renovating our house (plumbing, electrical, drywall throughout, new furnace & hot water heater) and when we redid the roof.

Now I'm wondering how much money we've wasted on our house insurance by not knowing about those discounts.
