Been such a long week....

I know it's only Wednesday and instead of a four day work week I only have three days this week. But it seems to be never ending. The two year that I keep in my home is a child that I don't even recognize this week. She's had several long weekends away from me lately with the holidays and she's been shuffled from pillar to post. She is usually the most well behaved child when she is here but this week she's been a mess. All of her old fears (jets, the wind blowing, etc.) that I worked so long and hard with her to overcome are back. She has been completely potty trained except at night for months now. Yesterday she came to me in a diaper because "she insisted on having one on." Today she pooped her pants. She asks me a hundred times a day "is mommy coming to get me later?" She won't nap because she is constantly screaming over something (a jet flies over, the wind is blowing, my furnace is running, etc.) Her behavior has been really bad too. Smart mouthing me, making faces when I tell her something, demanding,etc.

I just don't understand why anyone would undo all the great things a child has accomplished. And it makes it much harder on me too. I will be very happy when tomorrow evening finally gets here!
