Talking I bought a new camera yesterday

I take TONS of pictures and LOVE it! And I've found over the years that I am pretty good at it! I even took my daughter's senior pictures and they were as good as, if not better, then the professional ones I saw. I bought a Kodak Easyshare probably 7 years ago and it worked ok for a while. Then dh bought a newer model one about 5 years ago which was so much better then mine. He never used it so I used it and unfortunately wore it out LOL. It started giving me problems over the summer and totally gave out around Thanksgiving. My old one works but takes terrible pictures, the zoom is awful etc.

So I took the money that my parents and inlaws gave me for Christmas and added a little to it from dh's holiday pay and bought myself a new one yesterday. It was on sale for 149.00 and it's awesome! I have a bird feeder on my porch and for years I have tried to take pictures of the birds but the camera sucked. Now I can practically see into their brains with the zoom LOL.

I rarely buy myself anything new or pricey but I have been SO excited with this camera! Dd got all dolled up and we are going outside to take some pics of her and try it out!

So happy you are loving your camera. I had the same excitement and pure joy when Gabe gave me one as a gift. I take mine almost everywhere. LOL

    Enjoy taking photos!

Glad that you are enjoying "your new toy"........love adult toys......be they for gardening or play or???

What did you buy? Do you like all the features it has?

My current one is too big........I want just a tiny little thing that will fit in my pocket when I go somewhere........but still takes good (decent) pics!!

It's a FujiFilm FinePix S2940 14MP Digital Camera with 18x Optical Zoom, 3.0" LCD Display. I have NO idea how to use all the features and probably never will LOL. But it has a great zoom which I wanted and it takes really good pictures so far. I haven't had a chance to try it out on too many different things. Got some good pics of the birds and our pets though.

I had a really nice fuji camera that I loved!! Sadly, it was in my carryon bag during a flight and was damaged

I now have a Canon 3100, have no clue how to use all the features, but it takes amazing photos. If I could figure how to post them..I would. LOLOL We take A LOT of photos down here.

I take pictures on an almost daily basis. I just love it. I do in home daycare and have a two year old here Mon-Thurs so I am always taking pictures of her when we make a craft or go somewhere or she is just being cute. Then I have two teenagers of my own who are always doing something! I feed birds at a feeder on my front porch and have wanted a camera with a good zoom for years for that. I can't wait to get a nice sunset so I can try it out for that LOL.
