Hi Brenda,
So sorry you can't get on. I am on Linux so not sure if it is a windows problem or not. Hope someone will see this and can help you. Hugs and Love,

When you are havin issues, it generally helps to post your operating system and browser.
I doubt it is a virus from the site. Many of us would be affected if that were the case.
Have you cleared your cache, all that?McD

Do find it odd that it is just this site though, so see why your son is concerned.
Was wondering the same thing about clearing the cache.
I am assuming you are on windows. Mods should be able to see your operating system, I know I can on the boards I mod. Hugs again to you, hope you are back on soon.*Angel*

Within the past week, I had a problem here also.
The computer was on, and I walked away from it. So it kind of went into quiet mode...whatever one calls it. So with this Dell, I have to shake the mouse, and the screen comes back on. Then I have to use mouse on right side of screen to confirm I am the owner and to open last screen running. I only had one site open on one window. This one.
Well I got the window open and again, this was the ONLY window open. It had hiccups and I could not get additional windows to open. Then it would not let me use the start button to go up and open additional windows. The start tab just would not stay open, so I could click on the new window to open. I had to open a new window off a shortcut on my desktop. It basically kept hiccupping. I could not get to my shut down computer on my start button, so I had to shut the system down hard. Using the off switch on my cord that holds the several plug ins.
I did later get things running okay. But....
I think I got hit with something from this site.
I have 2 protection programs on this computer. I ran both programs and they came up clean. But I still am paranoid that something happened.
When this dell went down in December with a trojan I got from another site that I visited daily. NO LONGER though. It was a sneaky thing, that affected the start button like what happened this past weekend here. The computer acted normal though after it's hiccup. I asked the computer tech and ended up taking it in. Yes the system was compromised and he ended up dumping it all, and redoing my entire system. I had bought the computer there used a year ago, and because he had the images for it, he was able to fix it for me, and only charged me $ 25. But the machine was there for about a week waiting to be looked at.
I was going to take this Dell machine, in yesterday but with all the things going on in this household, I did not. But I will not go to my banking online with this computer, till I get it looked at.
I have my other older computer as a backup if I need it.
This dell, my current machine, has the windows XP and I use DSL through verizon, my phone company.
I suppose I could download another browser but I am so used to the windows, that I keep on using it.
Oh and yes, I clear the cache, etc.--------My signature--------

Which browser are you using? If I recall correctly, IE was the one that was having issues and Gabe had recommended Google Chrome or Firefox.

I have been having problems with the cursor (vertical line) disappearing when I am writing a message. Right now it just disappeared when I stop typing. Only seems to happen on this site.

It just took me about 10 tries to get logged in here.
And then when I do get logged in, it won't hold.
It will throw me out again.
Rinse, lather and repeat.
It may take this time. It's acting a bit better.
So I was fighting with the log in over half a hour.
And other sites are acting normal for me.--------My signature--------

You're probably viewing a cached version of the site when it was having issues.
Some people have issues viewing FV after any change (large or small). It's because their isp doesn't update changes quickly. Sometimes it's browser issues. Especially true if using a bookmark to access the site.
Some readers have to clear cookies and cache or wait for their isp to catch up with any changes.
Earlier the issue was causing the site to load, but none of the images. They appeared broken.
Oops sorry. You're saying that your login won't hold. That's usually a corrupted cookie.
