    Post Hi everyone. I'm new.

    Hi

I always seem to stumble across frugal village in my google searches. I have been following Dave Ramsey for quite some time. I was starting to watch Suze Orman but that just became ridiculous. Callers would say, " I have 124,000 in liquid cash, 114,000 in investments, 390,000 home and I bring home 12,400 a month... can I afford 2 pizzas for dinner?" When she started her approved debit card that sealed the deal of being done with her. I'm sticking with Dave Ramsey. I have a good paying job and I live within my means. I finally paid off my credit cards. I do however want to pay back a 401k loan. I need an EF too. It was a tough decision but I took out a loan for a deposit on my home. I don't have PMI since I put down 20%. I am actually saving money because owning is cheaper than my apartment. I would like to pay my loan by next year. I'm hoping to get some great tips and ideas from others on this site. Everyone seems encouraging and it seems like a great place to be. I hope I can help others as well.

welcome! I hope you learn alot here, as I have.
I dislike Suze Orman's show as well, but liked listening to DR on my ride home from work. I am sad that they moved him to a different time.
