we are a 2 car family again!

Dh and I decided that we were ready to start looking for 1 of the 2 vehicles we wanted to buy in the next year. We have been down to 1 car for over 6 months now and we have made it work but its been tough. We knew we wanted a older model ford truck. Im talking late 60s to 70s. We had budgeted $2500 originally and once we started looking we realized we needed to up our budget to closer to $4000! These things are not cheap! This truck will not be driven a ton but is also a project that Dh has wanted. We went an looked at a 76 f100 last night that was actually fairly close to home and decided tobuy it. We offered $1400 and the guy accepted as he really needed the money to fix his other car and he had got this truck on a trade. It def needs some prettying up but seems to run pretty well! Ilove being under budget!

That's great Holly . We've been a 2 vehicle family since the late 70s, other than short periods of time where one either broke down or got ruined in an accident. My engine blew right after Christmas and my car was in the shop for a couple of weeks & it drove me bonkers.

Your dh will enjoy working the truck and making it his.
