Tax Return Direct Deposit Date

After I filed my return on 1/24 and was able to see my deposit date on the IRS website it said it would go in my bank on 2/8. Then a couple days later it revised to 2/7.

I just checked it today as I was checking the status of my son's return and it has now updated my return to deposit on 2/1.

At this rate next they will tell me the money went in my bank 6 hours after I filed and they just had not told me!! LOL I kid....I kid.

Our return was filed on 1/24 also and the original deposit date said 2/8 . A few days later I checked it to make sure it was the same and it says 1/31 now. I hope it hits then . I love that cushion in the bank account.

We haven't done our taxes yet but a friend said hers keeps getting pushed later and later. We live in MO.

Woo hoo...after reading your post I checked again and ours is to be deposited on February 1st too

There was a glitch with the IRS that has thrown the original dates out of whack. Ours was suppsed to be the 25th and was dd yesterday

Jeez, I'm still waiting for all of our documents. I don't even have my wife's W2 yet, let alone several other things.

Our employers both wait 'til the last minute to supply W-2 forms. Oh well, I guess a couple days either way won't matter much. But I do love the bank balance when the refund hits!
