Default Remember my trip to Scotland a few weeks ago?

When we were there my mom gave me some 9 mm films that used to belong to my aunt (my godmother) who passed away in 1968 when I was 10.

Dh took them to a company that would put them onto a DVD.
We got it back today and have just watched it.

A film about my aunt's last trip abroad before she died.

Me and my parents in front of their store in 1963 or 1964.

My cousin when she was - I think - about 3.

I felt really emotional while watching it.

    Great history, great memories.

I would get it on some sort of 'elec. item' (?cd?) that will be usable for in the future.........in case 9mm goes the way of the 8 track!

    You went to Scotland recently?

I am going at the beginning of April. We will be in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

What a wonderful family treasure to discover!

Bunnys, take an umbrella and a raincoat! Be prepared to have the umbrella searched for bombs when you leave the UK.

I'd love to know more about visiting Scotland - the best time of year etc. That's the next big trip for DH and me.

Yes, it was. These were films that I had never seen, didn't even remember them being made - I was around 5 or 6.
I have to admit that when I was watching, tears were running down my face.

I'll write a small piece about Scotland at the end of the week for you and Bunny. Till Friday I am caught up in a project that is taking up a lot of time.
