Default Bye Bye huge mortgage payment!!

    As of today. *phew!!*

Still trying to settle into new place we will be buying, renting for now. Am wore out!! lol But happy. Am able to eat and sleep again finally, lol. Old mortgage... $2300 month (yeah, THEY messed up on escrow). New mortgage will be around $700 or less, I will do my own escrow. I'll take it!!!

Other good news.. hubby had already gotten a raise about a month ago. Puts him making more than he did when he worked there prior. Still not to equal what our combined income was when I was working (I am unemployed at the moment). But then we got word about being put in on a deal with one of the oil rig equipment that splits the profit between the employees. What they earned last year combined with his new income will be more than we were making when I was working.

Now... to get on those medical bills pronto!!!!

    Bring on them baby steps...
    Step 1: done
Step 2: waiting on amount, hubby had followup colonoscopy, I had visit to ER with followup procedure
Step 3: to follow, won't know aim until things settle
Step 4: to follow, currently at 6%
    Step 5: grown child
    Step 6: huge mortgage ANNIHILATED!!
    Step 7: ahhhh....

Congratulations! Big difference in mortgages. What a huge relief.

Congrats! I know exactly how you feel. Our old mortgage was $2300 a month and we purchased a house outright with the money we got from selling a business. It is a dinky, old house in a not so great neighborhood but we only have to pay about $1200 a YEAR between property taxes and insurance. Oh, and congrats on the pay raise for hubby too
