Love warranties...

We had to replace the MAF sensor ($134.95 + tax) on my car back in November. Light came back on within a couple of days but, with lots of stuff going on didn't have time to really worry about it.

Got car back from the garage after having new engine installed, light comes back on the day after I pick up the car and I'm thinking WTF! Take care back to garage, mechanic runs diagnostic on it and the MAF sensor is bad...he tells me to take advantage of my warranty since we had just bought the sensor in November.

Sent hubby today to pick up the new sensor and the guy tells him that he hopes that one doesn't go bad because they can't replace it again. He gets home, tells me what they said and I'm like ????? "Limited Lifetime Warranty"...go to their web site, check warranty info...got news for them. If the sensor goes bad again I'll be the one taking it back next time and they will give me a new one. Limited means 90 days with receipt, unless it states otherwise on your receipt...my receipt says "Lifetime" .

The thread title made me think you managed to get a warranty on love. It would sure have been nice to get my broken loves replaced for free.
