Thank you everyone...just noticed I used the "angry" thingy do for this post when I meant to used the "sad face"...go figure.

Our son ended up having to be taken by ambulance to the hospital yesterday morning shortly have I put up OP. He started seizing again and continued to have back to back seizures until close to 9a.m. yesterday morning. They kept him overnight in the hospital and we were able to bring him home this afternoon.

He was not awake at all yesterday and is very, very tired today. He is having trouble finding his words and answering simple questions (where do you live?). He also seems to have more weakness in the right side of his body than is normal for him, which tends to exacerbate his balance issues. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. For someone with a TBI every time they have a seizure they tend to lose some of what they had gained and he had several back to back. Which, right now is the case with him. We are hoping that he will be able to recover to pre-seizure abilities very soon. We feel fortunate that he pulled through, he could very well have died.

They requested that I spend the night at the hospital with him, which I did. When he comes out of seizuring he tends to be very, very violent and they needed me there since I am able to calm him and get him to cooperate. What a long night....

I had a ct ( do home care now ) that had a TBI from a car accident -only 20 , luckily she hasnt had siezures since the week afterwards but has had other complications and many surgeries for repair of limb fx.

Car accident back in 2001 shortly before his 18th birthday. He didn't have any seizures for 4 years after coming out of his coma. Then they started again had 3 grand mal within a few weeks of each other, then he was seizure free for a little over 6 years until yesterday.
