    Angry Please pray for my son...

    Woke up to our son having a grand mal seizure; after he seizes he goes through a very violent period that lasts about 30 minutes or so. He is now sleeping on our bedroom floor, in our doorway, naked as the day he was born.

    After I covered him with a throw that was my mom's I reached down & ran my hand through his hair, he opened his eyes and said, "I love you mom", closed his eyes and went back to sleep. I sure do wish there was someone they could fix his brain. Dh is downstairs in the livingroom looking like he's been through hell & back. Me, I'm sitting here wishing I had a time machine...

    I have never had to deal with anything like this and I cannot imagine the emotions that would be involved.

    Oh my gosh. How horrible for him and the family. How often does this happen? I am unfamiliar with this...what do the Doctor's say? How old is your son? How long has this been happening.

    I feel for you. My DB has epilepsy so have been through this many times. Also, my DD had seizures from birth til about age 12. Then they just stopped. (HUGS)
