Not a good day
I'm putting this out here because I can't really do anything else to take my mind off everything today. I am stressed, in pain and frustrated.
Three of my four children all have the stomach bug at the same time, the other one had it over the weekend. After dealing with a sinus infection last week I went back to the doctor today because I have continued to have swelling & pain around my left eye. Yesterday I started to develop blisters and have problems with my eye. Well, I have shingles and have to go to an opthamologist in a couple of hours to see how infected my eye may be.
I could deal with all that if it was just that. But, I am having problems with my mortgage company and it is freaking me out and driving me nuts...
Last fall we missed a payment after DS had to have emergency dental surgery that was only slightly covered by insurance. I have been trying to work with the mortgage company all along. The December payment was sent back in January because we couldn't pay everything all at that time. I talked to them then and stated that we would be able to make full payment of everything by beginning of February. I never received the paperwork though, held on to the January payment. Friday we got our tax refund and I was all set to make the payment. That day we also received notice that our mortgage has been sent to a lawyer for foreclosure and we had five days from date of letter to get in contact and discuss options. Today is the 5th day if they are counting calendar days and the one person I am allowed to talk to is out of the office.
All I can do is wait and hope that they will work with me better than they have so far. But it sucks being sick, dealing with sick and wondering about the roof over our head due to ONE payment.Amy

I feel for you! Contact the Lawyer immediately and let him know you will have the payment by the end of the Month. Don't pay any other bills until you catch up on your mortgage everything else can wait. Unless it's a medical emergency of life and death don't pay anything till your caught up. Of course get your eye checked out, hopefully your covered!

Hopefully you can get everything worked out. Sounds as if the letter was sent out automatically. Hang in there. If you need to go directly to the mortgage company, even if you are sick with all your paperwork.
