No April Fools joke
We found a place to live & closing date is the 1st of April! Woohoo! Finally going to have someplace to call home.
We are buying (cash deal
) a small (980sq ft) mobile home that is on one of the largest lots in the park. The yard has quite a few trees, a pond, shrubs & other perennials...The home is in excellent condition, has had just one owner and she's taken very good care of it. Double carport too. It's 1/2 hr. drive from where we are staying and we plan to continue to stay here as we furnish the house bit by bit using craigslist and garage sales. Once we gather enough to live comfortably we'll bring the pets over & live there full time. Yep, they take pets
Woohoo!
Oh, bonus info: Old house is starting to get some traffic as people are starting to ask questions about things. I may have some news on that front soon too I hope. Price is going to have to be lowered but it is what it is & we are looking forward to moving on.

Thanks Russ!
Oh, for those who don't know, Hurricane Irene is what turned our life upside down and has us starting over.
Forgot to mention, new place has brand new washer & dryer. No more fun trips to the laundromat!!

That is wonderful news. Soon you will have all that you need and will be moved in and calling it home. So happy that they accept your fur babies too. Can't leave them behind. It looks beautiful and peaceful with all of the lush greenery.
