I'm doing stuff to fix up my houses so it would go to sealing my driveway. Not fun, but helps with the cost of stuff.

That actually happened to me years ago. I found a folded up 100 dollar bill on the floor by the cash register at the grocery store. I turned it in at the office, they took my name and number and told me to stop back in a week, if it wasn't claimed it was mine. Exactly a wek later I stopped back in and they said "Oh, it was just claimed, an elderly lady just now came in and claimed it". I could tell by the way she said it that she was lying but what could I do. I think that taught me a lesson.

I would go big shopping. Coupon binder in tow and hit up the thrift stores and see how far it can go.

Last December, I put on my suit jacket to go to the company Christmas party. While I was at the party, I put my hand into the right pocket of my suit, and found $200 dollars that I had put in there and forgot about. It had apparently been in there for a year!
I just put it in the bank!
