$3.199 at cheapest place, $3.299 most other places. I assume this will be on the rise as gas has jumped up here lately...uggghhh....home heating oil was $1.0499 when we bought our house 9 years ago!

I've never used oil heat before, people tell me it's good, but I don't want to spend an arm & a leg to be warm...

Well the fuel guy came & went and so did $760 of our money..I still had 51 gallon's left..so we could of went I'm guessing another 2 or 3 months as we just use it for our dishwasher & showers otherwise I just turn the hot water off..
I'm actually relieved that we didn't have to pay close to a $1000 to fill our tank...
Stacey,I've lived in a house that was soully heated by wood...yes, it saved us money..but..I can't say I liked it with having a newborn in the house..it was either freezing or steaming hot w/no happy medium.
Our new woodstove was delivered yesterday that we are putting in the livingroom..it will save us lot's of $$$ not to mention the cozy warm feeling you get from not only the warmth but watching the wood burning..Oh I can't wait!Wife to Keith

Our oil bill was there today when we came home. For 192 gallons it's 3.49/9 total 674.96
If we pay within 10 days it's 3.29/9 and total 636.38 so of course we'll pay within 10 days.
We got a pellet stove a few yrs. ago and LOVE it. Enjoy your new stove.

I bought a pellet stove a few months ago so this will be my first winter using it.I burn oil but had a woodstove in the rec room which really cut down on the oil I used, and this pellet stove will be so much cleaner and no work.Everyone I talk to says they love theirs.I only fill the oil tank once a year, and last Spring I paid $1.03 a liter(canadian).
