have you ever?
Have you ever laughed to keep from crying? I am starting to believe everyone around me thinks I have lost it b/c I just keep laughing. It has been a very trying month or so and I guess I am just to that point

completely normal.. it relives stress.. and sometimes u have to laugh or u would never quit crying...
for example my husband lost his, my mom died, my son got hit by a car, we hit 3 deers, lightening hit our house, my daughter went buck wild, my uncle went missing this was all in 1 year..thought I was losing my mind....so I started saying well it is so bad the wildlife is committing suicide..lol I had to laugh or i would have never quit crying..very weird feeling for me...

No but I don't tend to have normal reactions.
I break down at the weirdest times.
Wish I did laugh instead of cry!Wife

I do it. My doc said its a chemical in your body that reacts to stress. I thought i was going crazy because i would be laughing at some of the most stressful times.
If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal. Not to
people or things.

no, but I've always wanted to....
(ok so that was my grans response to a neighbor lady who was a big gossip- usually her conversations always started with 'have you ever' and my gran would follow up with 'no but i've always wanted to'- ah thanks for the memory lane road trip)
now to the question- yes some years ago I discovered that having a good old crying fest -usually having to watch a sad movie- would keep me on track. now seems like watching a leaf fall from the tree will start me tearing up... so I've got to have me a day of me time- kids don't like to see me cry so Ijust don't anymore.. it's a stress relief mechanism for me I know...
sorry your having to deal with all the stress but laugh until you can't.

No, but I do have horrid habit of grinning ear to ear in very stresful situations where it's TOTALLY inappropriate. Can't help myself, horribly embarrassing, but just the way I work, I guess. Sending positive thoughts your way- hugs! May next month be better. When things go really badly, I try to remember to remind myself life is full of ups and downs- if I'm in the midst of a down, an up must be on the way eventually!
