For me, it's yes. I was born and raised in New Jersey, I currently live 3 miles from where I grew up, and my DD1 goes to the same high school that DH and I went to.

Born in Ohio (Dad was Air Force) but came to Colo. when I was 3, have been here since. Tried to move a couple of times, Calif. and Maryland, but I always missed Colo. terribly.

Born in Illinois. Moved to Florida after college. Lived there for 11 years until my first husband died. Then I moved back home. I live about 2 hours from where I grew up.

I was born and raised in Providence R.I. After hightschool I joined the Navy and thats where I met my hubby, and followed him till retirement. Now we are retired and settled in Slidell Louisiana.

Born and raised in New York and still here. Now that dh is retired we would like to move somewhere warmer and cheaper! NY is a very expensive state to live in.

I lived in Rochester, NY and right outside of it most of my life. Spent a few years in New Mexico and now live in Michigan.
I hope somehow to get back home to NY or practically anywhere but here.

NY born too. Your right Diana, NY is too expensive and cold. Dh retires we'll probably be outta here. Only thing that would make us question that is the thought of leaving our kids and future grandkids. Cross that bridge when we come to it.
