Here is dh digging us out AGAIN! The piles of snow are so high there isn't anywhere to put it! The deck railing you can barely see is about 6-6 /12 feet off the ground!

Ok Ladies,
It's official! We are all terribly jealous here in the Pacific Northwest!
My kids are looking at your pictures and others posted at mycoupons.com and drooling! They want a snow day so bad. LOL! We did get a light dusting of snow here in eastern WA, but that is it (and it's all melting). Enjoy your winter wonderland!!!!!

Amy, I forgot to tell you what a lovely view you have!

Yes ladies the snow can be pretty but we are SICK of it!!
I don't have kids but I haven't heard of very many snow days on the radio this year. Maybe 6 or so days is all. Not very many for us. Most of the storms have been hitting on holidays and weekends so the kids haven't had many snow days. They actually had a day off last week when we were having terrible wind. It made the wind chill below -30F!! They didn't want kids having to walk to school or wait for the bus in those temps so closed school.

I don't miss the lake effect snow in NY at all. Mid Michigan is so mild. (esp this year)
Hurry up Spring!
The pictures are so pretty, but that's a lot of snow.If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. Pretty view ladies but like you I have had it! If it's not snowing like crazy the temps are bone chilling. Slow melt , followed by a beautiful Spring thank you. And now please.

ugh, we are getting snow here as i type. And i am such a weenie i cna't drive in it for the life of me. I cannot do it, and there is nothing in this world that can make that change for me. I panic like you wouldn't believe! i have about 4 inches out there now in the last five hours
. Snow is pretty , and looks real nice, kids love to play in it, and so on. but i am looking forward to spring!

I too will do just about anything to avoid driving in it. It's hard for me not to put my fear of driving in snow onto my dd who is just about 18. I don't want her to be limited like I am in that reguard. Do I worry about her driving in it, you bet!Originally posted by mrsengeseth
