Its Happening again!!!!
DH just called, his dad had to cancel their plans tomorrow to rush his mom back to Plano to that yahoo dr that screwed her up!
He had her at the ER tonight, just got home a bit ago. They say the infection is back and she will probably need emergency surgery tomorrow!
They tried this in January, and failed now they want to do it all over again, after dumping her because they didn't want to accept her disabilty medicare!
I wish I could just wave a wand and make her better.
I suspect among all this she has had a small stroke, but who listens to me??? No one. They need to remove all that metal junk from her back and let her get normal again!
Thanks for letting me vent, I am so tired of them doing this to her!

Sometimes I think with Doctor's it's a case of "The more they learn...the less they know".
Our bodies don't need allllll the HELP they try to give us. In most cases our bodies can heal themselves, given a bit of time and patients.
Don't let them run you thru hoops. Have done what needs done and be done with it...kwim??

Gosh Mel, I feel so badly for your dmil and the rest of you guys. How awful that must be. I had a staph infection after back surgery as well and it was AWFUL. I'll be praying for all of you.

Thanks all!
Graci, the frustrating thing is, she complained about back pain so much the drs have operated....6 times, the last 3 due to this infection that is now worse than it was before the last set of operations.
The really bad deal is, the drs have no clue why her pain was so bad in the first place, her back was not bad enough shape to warrant all they have done to her. They did it to appease her and as a result she is worse.
This infection is a staph infection, and she got it at the hospital she is now on her way too. It is inside the "cage" the yahoo dr built around her spine.
I am praying for her every day. Some how though my gut feels she won't make it out of this. I hate it when I get that feeling too, because its never been wrong yet, I just pray this time it is.
Its just so upsetting that dad won't let us in to help him take care of her and now shes going to need even more care than before. He wont even let us go to Plano.
Some days I just do not understand dh's family at all.
