We had another car wreck..

This is the 3rd time my car has been hit since Feb. last year. None have been our fault. This time ds (17) was driving.

Ds had to be put on a stretcher and neck brace and we went by ambulance to the hospital in Vegas. Ds blacked out during the accident. We both had xrays and nothing is broken but we are really sore from strained and pulled ligaments and muscle spasms. His neck is bad and my upper and lower back is bad. Plus my BP spiked really high and they wouldn't let me leave till they got it down. It happend at 1:30 yesterday and we didn't get home till 1:00 in this morning.

We were turning at a 4 way stop and a man didn't stop at his sign and came plowing threw us. We were turning left toward the direction he was coming from. Ds managed to make our car go far enough that the man hit us in the drivers side rear door. It is caved in about 5 inches and the door frame for the front door is messed up and so is the rear tire. We think it will be totaled. The man that hit us got a ticket for not stopping at the stop sign and causing an accident. The man tried to leave but we got his license and then he turned around and came back to us and tried to just get us to trade insurances but I told him no and that we were calling the police. I wrote in the statement about him leaving the scene.

A man living near by said he didn't see it happen but he sure heard the mans tires squealing and you could see his tire tracks and his car didn't stop till after he hit us and that was the whole length of the intersection. His statement helped the cops to believe our story since the man was turned around and parked in front of us going back the direction he had come from. They totally believed us.

When the did the Ct Scan on ds the doc discovered a small fatty lesion. She said it could be a congenital teratome about 1.0 cm. She said if we wanted we could get it checked out on our own and get an MRI. Dh will get insurance in 3 weeks so hopefully we can atleast do it by then. The doc said it wasn't anything to get real upset about and that he probably has had it since birth. But, I think any kind of cyst on the brain is cause to worry.

Please pray for our quick and full recovery from the accident and please pray that the cyst on Jesse's brain is nothing at all like the doc thinks.

omg! I'm so sorry that this happened. I'm glad you both weren't hurt worse. I am praying that Jesse's cyst is nothing serious.

My goodness! Thank God you are both safe! But, I sure do hope that your ds has nothing serious with that cyst in his brain. I'll be praying for him. ...You must be feeling a little strained all over your body..? I hope the insurances pay everything and all will be for the better.
