Unhappy BRRRRR....it's 36 degrees here at 8:42 in the morning!

It's freezing here! This morning my hubby had to scrape the frost off the windows of the car (it was 34 degrees then). Luckily we moved all most of the plants that were on the back porch into thegarage last night and the hibiscus plant into the house. I'm going to wait until it warms up a bit to get them back out and into the sun. I'm hoping the few hanging plants that we did leave out will make it. Today we are expecting a high of 55 degrees. Last week we were in the 80's!!! This may be another year where we just skip Fall and go right into winter.

Jeff and the twins are going hunting tomorrow early in the morning. I'm going to send hot chocolate and coffee with them. They'll be sitting there in the cold at dawn freezing their little hiney's off. Please pray they get a deer quickly so they can come home and warm up!

Sorry to hear about your weather. We had some really cold days, (heat on for over a week even) but are at 70 today. Crazy weather here lately.

I hope your guys have good luck hunting tomorrow! I've heard cooler weather makes for better hunting. At least that's what I've heard Like Sara said, we had cool weather for couple of weeks, now it's more normal. I hope your cool snap ends soon.

We've had our first hard frost already (30º). Indian summer now,(low 70's) just beautiful!
I wish your hunters good luck.

This past week we have broken all kinds of records in Manitoba for the hot spot in Canada and record temperatures for many towns. It has been wonderful.

We've cooled down today and by the middle of the week, our temps will be at 0 at night.

It was 68° here when I got up this morning - it's up to 78° now (@ 4:30pm) but to be honest, I put on a sweatshirt as soon as I roll out of bed & crank the AC up (well, it's not actually AC, but that sounds so much nicer than "I crank up the swamp cooler.....")the guys are making there rounds switching everybody from cool to heat & I keep avoiding them - I refuse to bake to death in the El Paso heat when the "dog days" (or is that "indian summer" - whatever) hits in a couple of weeks!!

Enjoy it ~ I'd gladly take some of your "BRRR's" if you'd like to send them!!
