Ours is heading towards our savings account. We are trying to fine tune our withholdings to where we are about breaking even, but still have not gotten to that goal. so we are getting back 849.00 this year.

We are paying off our credit card and my student loan. And putting $2000 of it towards our equity line of credit.Ok gotta brag here so if ya don't want to see it just go back.We are also selling my van I don't need almost $400 a mo in payments if I'm only driving it 30 miles a week.So we are taking that $400 and putting it to our equity line every month. The money saved from my student loan and credit card is going into savings.we just go the equity line and they said it should take us 7 years to pay it off with minimum payments, now we will get it paid off by dec atleast. So this time next year the only debt we will have is our house payment.and man it is going to feel good we still have 26 yrs left on the loan but we figured we could knock off 20 by sending in double every mo.So in about 7 yrs we will be debt free!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, sounds like ya'all get a much larger refund than we do, lol. We have our withholding adjusted pretty close to what needs to be kept...no sense in giving the g'ment a free loan all year.
We'll get about $150 back from the fed refund, and get to send it right on in to the state...to make up for the bit we'll owe them.
Can't even imagine the size some of the refunds ya'all must be getting.....

We are going to send it all to the credit card company. We're doing everything we can to get rid of our debt this year. I can't wait to get that refund and write that big check. It's going to be such a relief to have that debt gone and stop worrying about it!

This past year, dh cashed in his 401K because he switched jobs and we needed the cash to get our house. So with our return, we plan on putting 2/3 of it in a CD or IRA, the rest will go towards finishing off the upstairs, so we won't have to charge that.
