My basement is flooded!
We had the sump pump running all night, but it couldn't keep up! We woke up to over 18 inches of water in the basement- and into our furnace. We've turned it off for now, and have 2 pumps running.
I'm hoping that once the furnace dries out- it will be ok. I'll have someone check it out in a day or so.

Oh no! I hope that it has dried up. What a great thing to wake up too...a flooded basement.

Well, we used a shop vac and sucked the water out of the furnace, and have a fan running to try to dry it out. The furnace guy won't look at it, until it's been dry for a few days. Thankfully we have alternative heat sources.
Thanks for the offer Lori- so far we're doing ok- sure glad it warmed up a bit though.
